9 Days Ghana Adventures

Day 1: Arrival Day

Akwaba – ‘Welcome’ today You will get picked up from the Kotoka International Airport, Accra is an amazing city full of life! We want to take you to the center of Pan Africanism country in Africa. It’s a honor to be in Ghana’s the Great Gold coast of Africa! It has mesmerizing tropical nature, beautiful white sandy beaches and least to say a strong colonial history. Food and Culture it’s one of the best things you will experience in Ghana, leaving you relaxed in the modern stylish accommodation, informative and fun getting to explore this diverse area Tonight we will have our special Welcome dinner with some Ghanaian invites and returnees. We will dine, network and dance in preparation for the journey ahead. Meals Provided: Dinner

Day 2

Aren’t you happy you’re in Ghana, the richness of Ghana and breathing fresh air? Today we will learn how to make traditional Ghanaian meal, we will also go and see how the Batik is made, this is the famous Ghanaian Prints, full of color and is Vibrant we will get to explore and enjoy the meal. The night is yours to have fun. Evening event optional to add on. Meals Provided: Lunch

DAY 3

Kumasi is in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Enjoy a day learning of the great works of Osei Tutu, Okofomo Anokye, and the Ashanti Empire as it will serve as an introduction to Kumasi. Manhyia Ashanti King Palace (The Seat and official residence of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II) The green Ranch at Lake Bosomtwe King Prempeh Museum Okomfo Anokye’s Sword site (The site where the chief priest of the Ashanti Kingdom placed a sword in the ground and no one has been able to pull it out)

DAY 4 : Free day

Wake up with your breakfast buffet ready to go. Today, you call the shots on how you spend the day. Be the African you and move like a local. You may decide to go shopping at the biggest mall in the city. Don't forget to try one of Accra's staple dishes. Finish off the day with the night life experience of your choice. Let us know your plans and we will assist with your day. We recommend you try the local transport (trotro).

DAY 5: History Day

Explore the streets of Accra to indulge in Ghana’s history and some shopping. Travel to the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture.

DAY 6

Slave Dungeons & Kakum National Park

Today, we will travel to the central region to visit the Cape Coast slave castle. We will experience the horror of the dungeons whereslaves were kept to await the ships. After, we will pass through the "door of no return" where slaves exited and left their homeland. Today, the "door of no return" has been commemorated as the "door of return" to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken. We will have an official welcome home ceremony here. We will also visit the Kakum National Park. Kakum is a preserved rain forest with a canopy walkway that is suspended 30 meters above the ground on tree tops.

Day 7

Today does all about Art in the coast, its known to the most Ghanaian artist for those who enjoy Art work, we will check out some of the city’s best galleries Chocolate taste from Ghana's finest cocoa. Today you can take the day to rest or use as you wish.

Day 8

We will spend the part of the day traveling to Accra from Cape Coast. You can have some rest this morning to save your energy for the evening in preparation for the NYE experience. Later that evening we will welcome in the New year. If you’re a group will head out to a night out in the heart of the city. Make sure you get your party groove going! For others who wish to stay at the hotel or have a retreat we will arrange a something according to your needs.

Day 9 : Eastern Region experience

At Boti Falls (twin waterfalls) – Hiking : Fertility stone; Umbrella and prayer Rocks; African Map rock stone; 3- headed palm tree Adomi Bridge – Boat tour under the bridge Akosombo : the unveiling of the Volta River

Today you will have the option to travel to Boti Falls if not too tired to take an optional small hike or wash off in the waterfall for 2023 Blessings!

Spend the evening relaxing with an option to go out and party for your last evening in Ghana.

Day 10 - Departure

You can do some last-minute shopping today.

Today, you depart from the mother land, but not for long. Nante yiye! Yɛbɛhyia bio (Go well! we shall meet again).
